Digital Tigers warrants to the original purchaser that this product will be free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of purchase ("Warranty Period").
If a hardware defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option Digital Tigers will (1) repair the hardware defect at no charge, using new parts or parts equivalent to new in performance, (2) exchange the product with a functionally equivalent product, using new parts or parts equivalent to new in performance, or (3) refund the purchase price of the product. Digital Tigers may request that you replace defective parts with user-installable parts provided by Digital Tigers. A replacement product or part assumes the remaining warranty of the original product.
Digital Tigers warrants to the original purchaser that this product will be free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the remaining lifetime of product, as defined above ("Warranty Period").
If a hardware defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option Digital Tigers will (1) repair the hardware defect at no charge, using new parts or parts equivalent to new in performance and reliability, (2) refund the original parts value or equivalent replacement parts value of the defective component, if the original part is no longer available, or (3) apply a credit not less than 20% of the original product purchase price toward the purchase of replacement Digital Tigers product of your preference. Digital Tigers may request that you replace defective parts with user-installable parts provided by Digital Tigers. A replacement part assumes the remaining warranty of the original product.
This Limited Warranty applies only to computers manufactured by or for Digital Tigers that can be identified by Digital Tigers brands "Stratosphere" and "TraderStation," and sold after March 11, 2011. You must present proof of purchase (invoice or sales order) to authenticate the date of purchase, original purchaser, and product configuration purchased.
The Limited Warranty does not apply to any non-Digital Tigers hardware products or any software, even if packaged or sold with Digital Tigers hardware. Examples include accessory keyboard / mouse, UPS battery backup, surge suppressor, speakers, printers, and other external peripheral devices, which are branded and warranted by other companies. Digital Tigers stipulates that all such accessory products are sold with a third-party warranty of at least one year, unless specifically disclaimed by Digital Tigers with shorter term. Digital Tigers will provide warranty contact information for such third-party products on request. Digital Tigers provides their products "as is".
Software distributed by Digital Tigers with or without the Digital Tigers brand name is not covered under this Limited Warranty. Refer to the licensing agreement accompanying the software for details of your rights with respect to its use.
Digital Tigers does not warrant that the operation of the product will be uninterrupted or error-free. Digital Tigers is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to the product’s use.
This warranty does not apply: (a) to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents, broken plastic, and broken trim doors; (b) to consumable parts, such as batteries; (c) to port sockets after two years; (d) to moving parts after three years, including case fans, component fans, buttons, and secondary hard drives; (e) to power supplies and electrolytic capacitors after five years; (f) to damage caused by use with non-Digital Tigers products; (g) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake or other external causes; (h) to damage caused by operating the product outside the permitted or intended uses described by Digital Tigers; (i) to damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not a representative of Digital Tigers or a Digital Tigers Authorized Service Provider; (j) to a product or part that has been modified to alter functionality or capability without the written permission of Digital Tigers; (k) if product has ever been sold or transferred by original purchaser; or (l) if any Digital Tigers serial number has been removed or defaced.
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS WARRANTY AND TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DIGITAL TIGERS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR CONDITION.
Please contact Digital Tigers Support, by telephone or email, before requesting warranty service. Digital Tigers Support will help determine whether your product requires service and, if it does, will inform you how service will be provided. You must assist in diagnosing issues with your product and follow Digital Tigers support and service processes.
All returns for warranty service must be accompanied by a valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued by Digital Tigers Support. Shipments without a valid RMA number will be returned to sender.
If warranty service is required within the first 30 days after receipt of the original product, Digital Tigers will pay all shipping costs required to perform warranty service.
After the first 30 days, you are responsible for the cost of shipping products for repair to Digital Tigers. After the first 30 days and up to one year after purchase date, Digital Tigers pays the cost of return shipping to USA states only. In the second year after purchase, Digital Tigers pays the cost of return shipping to USA states except Hawaii and Alaska. For the third year after purchase and later, you are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
You must return products for service using original packaging. Replacement original packaging is available on request, at actual cost and shipping cost as determined by Digital Tigers. You must insure shipments to Digital Tigers at the full purchase price of the product. Digital Tigers is not responsible for shipping damage incurred when products are returned for service. The remedy for this damage is shipping insurance.
* TraderStation packages also include multi-screen monitors, covered by separate warranty.
